What can you lift?

If it's heavy, awkward or on the far side of a house, it's probably a pick we make.

  • Hot tubs and swim spas over a fence or a roofline
  • Rooftop HVAC units and condensers
  • Roof trusses, beams and steel
  • Fiberglass pool shells set into the excavation
  • Signs, light poles and awnings
  • Sheds, playsets and shipping containers
  • Boulders, rock walls and landscape stone
  • Equipment and materials onto roofs or into tight yards

Not sure? Send a photo and a rough weight, and we'll tell you straight whether it's a pick we can make.

Who hires us?

Roofers and HVAC contractors setting rooftop units. Builders setting trusses and beams. Pool installers, sign companies, solar crews and landscapers. Property managers and facilities teams. Other tree services that need a crane for a day. And homeowners with a hot tub that has to go over the house.

How does an operated crane lift work?

You tell us the load, where the truck can park, where the load is going, and the date. We look at access, ground and overhead lines, then bring the right crane with an operator who runs it start to finish.

You don't rent a machine and figure it out. You hire a lift.

  1. Tell us the load and the site — photos help.
  2. We confirm reach, access and set-up room.
  3. Our operator makes the pick.

Are you insured?

Yes. Parker Tree Service is licensed, bonded and insured, with general liability, umbrella and commercial auto coverage. Ask for a certificate of insurance and we'll have our agent send it. Idaho contractor license RCE-26718.

What cranes do you run?

Three truck-mounted knuckle-boom cranes. A knuckle boom folds and reaches in ways a straight-stick crane can't, which is how we work between houses, over fences and under wires that stop other equipment. Our operator will tell you honestly whether a pick is inside the chart.

Where do you work?

Caldwell, Nampa, Meridian, Boise, Eagle, Star, Kuna, Middleton, Emmett and the rest of the Treasure Valley — Ada, Canyon and Gem counties. We're based at 3214 E Homedale Rd in Caldwell.

A few honest answers

Do you rent the crane without an operator?
No. Every lift comes with our operator. That's how we keep our insurance clean and your job safe.
Can you lift over my house?
Usually. It depends on the weight, how far the set spot is from where the truck can park, and what's overhead. Send photos and we'll tell you.
What do you need from me?
The weight of the load (or the make and model), where the truck can park, where the load goes, and photos of the path. If the ground is soft or there are power lines nearby, say so.
Do you do emergency work?
Yes — 24/7 emergency response for storm damage and hazard trees. Crane-for-hire jobs are scheduled on weekdays.
Can another tree company hire your crane?
Yes.
